A  BRIEF  HISTORY  OF  OUR  COMMUNITY

              

Our Community started in 1989 by the late Anthoulla Cloude.It was very hard to begin with as she did not know many Greek Orthodox people  In the area, but together with some family friends she searched the local telephone directory and any Greek  sounded names she got in touch With. Also she got a lot of help from The Christ of saviour church, father Pazinas, of whom we are very grateful.

The services are held at Boxley Church, Boxley, Maidstone. We also have a Greek language school

holding lessons every Saturday between 10:00am and 1:00pm. There is an attendance of about 40 children from the surrounding area.

Lessons are taught by professional qualified Greek teachers.
